Janet is a native of Kansas City, attending school in the Park Hill School District and currently resides in Platte County with her family. She has two daughters who also graduated from the Park Hill School District. She is passionate about education and the quality of life in the community, volunteering her time in an effort to remain connected to those around her. In her spare time, Janet enjoys attending the Kansas City Symphony, sewing, vacationing with her family, and spending time at home with her husband Mark and their dog Bella.

Janet is a graduate of Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor of Science and Arts (BSBA) in Accounting.

Active volunteer in the Park Hill School District for 20 years.
